To know the only true God, honor and obey Him, and make Him known.
Many Spanish-speakers are turning to Islam. Here is a translation of what a Muslim convert in Latin America wrote to us a while back. This is what we do not want to happen!
- “We are ex-Christians, serious students of the Bible. We come from many different groups (Evangelicals, Catholics, JWs, Orthodox, etc.), and we have now embraced Islam as our way of life. We were not born Muslims and our families are not Muslim. We have converted to Islam after much study and reflection. Our ideas concerning Christianity are not erroneous, since we have studied both the Torah and the New Testament in their original languages. We now endeavor to study the Koran in Arabic, which is new to us here in Latin America. It is quite clear to us that Christianity, a religion that we have abandoned, is not God’s True Way for humanity. Therefore we have completely renounced it, and we now live according to the principles of Islam, as do millions of converts throughout the world.”
Needless to say, this is a special group of people that God loves. They need to understand the true message of ‘Isa al-Masih (Jesus the Messiah).
